A Photo and its Story

Hello everyone! 
In this blog i talk about this photo and its meaning to me.

This photo was taken in the summer of 2017, during the realization of a summer school of this same university. It's very important to me, since it was the first time that I socialized beyond the walls of my school, i was always quite antisocial and had a hard time talking to people even within my own school. This course dealt with a review of the social sciences as a whole, which later would be of great use in choosing a career.

In this place, i meet three of my best friends of life: Isidora, Paula and Valentina, with whom little by little after the course we strengthened our friendship. Isidora is from Santiago, so i can see her almost always, Paula is from San Antonio, she lived very close to my house and i had never see her and Valentina unfortunately she lives very far away, in Puerto Montt, so I have only seen her a few times later.

Since that month, my life has been totally different, i dared to meet more people. In fact, months later I went to my church for confirmation and there I was also able to make more friends and I made the decision to stay there years later after finishing my process as a youth monitor. The following year I also made the decision to do another summer course, which was also a very good experience.

    How nice the impact the course had on your life!
    I was also a youthful monitor, there are very nice moments.

My ideal job has to be something that I like and make me feel useful to society, I imagine myself contributing from the most specific job to the position with more responsibility, always focusing on the welfare of society, on giving my best and always enjoying what I do, hoping that my humble work can be useful, beneficial and relevant in people's lives. How i feel about English?

  Hi everyone!  My relationship with English began when I was a child and I became interested in what was happening in the world, for which English was fundamental to me. The truth is that despite the fact that it has always been in my life, I have never been able to fully learn it, I can understand practically everything that can be communicated to me, but when I try to respond fluently, I feel that I cannot control well what I want to communicate. On the other hand, English has been an important tool to be able to understand music, series and movies in languages that perhaps don't have a direct translation into Spanish, that is why it's important for me to improve my communicative part so that at some point I can speak it correctly. The story of this photo has nothing special, but when I checked my gallery I found it curious and it automatically brought back memories, since it was the first long trip that only my mother and I did in the middle of the last decade, it was a trip that We did from the south to Santiago, so we went directly to Puerto Montt and Chiloé and then to the Araucanía Region and finally to the Bio Bio Region, currently part of that area corresponds to the newly created Ñuble Region. It was in the latter, specifically in the city of Chillán where this photo was taken, that day we got up early and went to visit the city center, I already knew the city, because I had gone before with my dad, so I served a little as a guide and I remembered that there was the museum of the pianist Claudio Arrau, who is originally from Chillán and achieved world fame for his early talent for this instrument.
